Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect what you send us through the contact form, or by calling, texting or emailing us. We use it to answer you about your project. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for their own marketing. The site also uses Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement, described below.

Who we are

This website belongs to Riverbend Hill Country Homes (Riverbend Home Improvements LLC), a home builder and remodeler based in Dripping Springs, Texas. You can reach us at (512) 842-7757 or build@riverbendhillcountryhomes.com.

What we collect

What you give us. The contact form asks for the type of project, your name and your phone number, and optionally your email address. When you send it, the form also records which page of the site you sent it from and, if your browser provides it, the page or campaign that brought you to the site. When you call, text or email us, we keep that conversation.

What is collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records standard technical information: the pages you view, your device and browser type, your approximate location (city or region, not your address), and how you arrived at the site. Our hosting provider also keeps ordinary server logs for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry, call you back, and plan a conversation or site visit about your project.
• To keep a record of the projects we have discussed with you.
• To understand which pages and advertising are useful, so we can improve them.

We do not add you to unrelated mailing lists, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics to measure how visitors use the site, and the Google Ads tag to measure whether people who click our ads go on to call or contact us. Both are provided by Google and set cookies or similar technologies in your browser. The information they collect is about visits and devices, not your name or the content of your message.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, manage ad personalization in your Google ad settings, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Who can see your information

Your enquiry reaches Vanessa Harris and Dan, who run Riverbend. We also rely on a few service providers, who handle information only to provide their service to us:

• our website host, and the email delivery service that sends form enquiries to our inbox;
• Google, for analytics and advertising measurement;
• RankVisibly, the marketing agency that builds and maintains this website.

We disclose information to anyone else only if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information while it is useful for the conversation you started, and afterwards only as long as is reasonable for our business records. If you ask us to delete it, we will.

Your choices

Children

This site is meant for adults planning a home or a renovation. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
